Redfin Recognized as a Top Brokerage in RealTrends Verified Rankings

For the third year in a row, Redfin has been recognized among the top residential real estate brokerages nationwide according to the RealTrends Verified Brokerage Rankings. Redfin agents closed 46,421 transactions in 2024, totaling more than $29B in sales, earning us spot #7 on the list of brokerages with the most overall transactions and #8 with the most sales volume.

This honor is proof that you don’t need to be the biggest brokerage to be among the best. Redfin had about 2,000 agents at the end of last year, a fraction of the size of our closest competitors, and yet we accomplished so much.

Redfin Agents Are The Most Productive

Based on RealTrends data, the average Redfin agent closed over 23 deals in 2024, more than three times agents at other brokerages in the top 10 by transaction count. I’m especially proud of this achievement considering the economic headwinds we faced last year, with home sales at their lowest point since 1995

Redfin agents also outperformed the industry in terms of sales volume, with the average agent closing nearly $15 million in sales–more than double the volume of our next closest competitor*. With more experience under our belts, Redfin agents have the skills and expertise to help our customers win through the ups and downs of the market.
